Bee Cave voters approved construction for a new public safety building that will house Bee Cave Police and Lake Travis Fire Rescue.

The nearly 36,000-square-foot facility will feature shared spaces to support both departments and is designed to enhance coordination and emergency response capabilities for the growing community.

The project is estimated to cost approximately $31 million, with funding shared between the City of Bee Cave and Lake Travis Fire Rescue (LTFR).

Construction is expected to begin in late 2025.

The City's portion of the cost of the building is $17.9 million and will be funded with certificates of obligation. This debt will be issued without raising taxes and will be presented to the City Council at the July 29 meeting.
