Historic Preservation Committee

In March 2025, the Bee Cave City Council established the Historic Preservation Committee to help recognize, protect, and celebrate the city’s rich history. This committee will work to identify and preserve historic sites, landmarks, and areas of cultural, architectural, and historical significance.

Additionally, the committee will document the city’s heritage by collecting oral histories from original settlers and longtime residents, ensuring that their stories and perspectives are recorded for future generations.

Through these efforts, Bee Cave aims to honor its past while fostering a deeper connection between the community and its history.

The City is now accepting applications for committee members. The deadline to apply is May 6, 2025.
