The Bee Cave City Council went through a selection process for city-wide trash pick-up services to ensure all residents have access to the best price available with the most services for their trash needs. This also enables the City to better coordinate trash removal in the event of a storm or other emergency. The City does not own the utility, so all questions regarding trash pick-up should be directed to TDS using the phone number below.

New Texas Disposal Service for all “single family” residences in Bee Cave, beginning May 1, 2024
What is included in the new service:
• Trash: 1/week: 96-gallon cart plus three (3) 30-gallon bags or bundles
• Recycling: 1/week: 96-gallon cart (previously this was every other week)
• Additional Services: Biweekly unlimited yard waste bag pick up; 12x/year bulky item pick up
• Pricing: Approximately: $85 per quarter (prices are subject to change considering taxes, & fees.) Extra Cart Rate: $9.00
What’s Next:
If you already have TDS as your trash provider, you do not need to do anything during this transition. If your 2nd Quarter bill does not reflect the new pricing, TDS will apply a credit to your account in the 3rd Quarter bill.
If you currently have Waste Connections, or another provider, you will need to call and cancel your acct. by July 1, 2024 and make sure to set up your new account with TDS, but please do not call TDS until May 1st. From May 1st onwards, you can call TDS’ Customer Care team at (800) 375-8375.
Any questions regarding schedule of pick-up, bulk trash pick-up, etc should be directed toward TDS. The City does not own the trash utility and cannot answer those questions.
